A new fascinating adaptation of the ironical and allegorical stories of Nobel Prize laureate S Y Agnon, – one of the greatest writers in the Modern Hebrew literature.
His stories carry a multi layer pattern of hidden and transparent ideas underlining the eternal question constantly arises regarding the aim of mans existence, whether he leaves the world naked as he came or if his belief is strengthened as he goes through it?
The wondrous story of a simple tailor, torn between fulfilling his spiritual commitments and sewing an outfit for a senior minister -a mysterious character that holds in his hands the tailor’s fate for good or for bad. The parable about a father, his son and a magical goat that carries him from the Diaspora to the HollyLand, very close to the eve of the Sabbath.
About a simple passerby who gets caught by coincidence at funeral of a righteous man that insists on reaching the front with the eulogists and pallbearers.
A moral and entertaining story about those who will never be content with their status in the world.
